Who Can Get Help & Support

We receive lots of enquiries from people asking if their problems, difficulties, thoughts and feelings warrant them accessing services or receiving help and support.

One of the best things about us is that we never discriminate on whether someone has e.g. ‘full-blown’ depression, anxiety, PTSD etc. has been formally 'diagnosed'; or meets certain ‘criteria’.

We welcome anyone who feels their problems or difficulties are affecting their life. As far as we are concerned, if your problems and difficulties are affecting your life in some way – socially, emotionally, psychologically, physically, occupationally etc., then you deserve help and support with such.

''Make the change today: there is no time like the present and there is never a 'right' time to make those changes. So make today the day and start working towards making life a little bit better!''.

We know that most people experience stresses, strains and difficulties at various times in life. Sometimes we need a little bit of extra help and support to get through challenging times. Everyone is different and what affects one person may not affect another. Each person in individual and unique and we work with you according to your own individual problems, experiences and goals.

If you are experiencing emotional, mental health or personal problems or difficulties, regardless of what that is or how often that may be, you deserve help, support and understanding that is empathic, non-judgemental and encouraging.

Emotional, mental health and personal difficulties come in all forms and most people who experience such difficulties don't meet all of the 'diagnostic criteria', are deemed ‘ok’ and thus do not receive treatment. This can be dangerous: a ‘controllable’ range of behaviours can easily turn into a serious illness with devastating consequences. This is why it's important to get support a soon as you can.

For us, it's not about sticking a label or name onto something or someone. It's about providing you with understanding and support for whatever you feel you need help with in a safe supportive and confidential setting.

''Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.''.

Emotional, mental health and personal problems come in many different forms and most people don't meet all the 'diagnostic criteria' set out in manuals. That doesn't mean your problems are not serious enough to get help and support - they are! You deserve support for whatever difficult or distressful issues you are going through.

Be reassured that we provide support to anyone who experiences difficulties that affect their life negatively in some way. Please don't worry about accessing services because you've been told you look ‘normal’ or your problems are not 'serious' enough. You deserve help and support from those who understand and listen.
