The CBT'ers Club: Spring Social Event


We aim to have 1-2 social events per year and in-between our more formal events and gatherings. The Spring Social is a social gathering - time to chat, network, make new friends and get to know each other a little better over a relaxed lunch.

Eating Disorder Support Group


WHAT: Eating Disorder Support Group (one evening and one morning ).

WHEN: 5.45pm-7.15pm (monthly, Monday) and 11.30am-1pm (monthly, tbc).

WHERE: Glasgow city centre .

DETAILS: anyone over 16, with any form of eating disorder or difficulty with food/eating welcome. See here for more information. Groups are regulated, confidential, supportive and have been going since Spring 2010! Re-launching in April 2018 after a break!

Therapy/Meeting.Consulting Room Hire: Glasgow City Centre


We have a Therapy/Meeting/Consulting Room to hire, by the hour, in Hope Street, in Glasgow city centre. Rooms rate: £8/hour (Members of The CBT'ers Club) and £11/hour (non-Members of The CBT'ers Club). Central location; secure environment (CCTV in communal areas); bright, lovely decorated room; access to comuncal kitchen; refreshments trolley in room; white board; free Wifi; access to online booking; Therapist Survival Kit; own keys; access to room hire 8-9, 7 days per week. Vacancies: Support Group Facilitators


We (in conjunction with Talking EDs) are re-launching our established Eating Disorder Support Group, which started in May 2010. We've had a 18-month break from this and recruiting new Support Group Facilitators in March 2018. This is a voluntary (unpaid) role, however, you will get lots of experience and benefits from this role and have the opportunity to work with qualified psychotherapists/clinicians. More information when we start advertising for the role officially in March. We will also be recruiting volunteer Group Facilitators later in 2018 for: Eating Disorder Family and Friends Support Group; Mindfulness Club and Glasgow Woman's Support Group. More details soon!

Topic and Discussion Group Events 1 and 2: Eating Disorders:

The CBT'ers Club


Given the Waiting List for the Topic and Discussion Group Meeting: Eating Disorders in March, we've decided to replicate this event. This constitute 2.5 hours of CPD and Certificates of Participation are awarded. This event is hosted by The CBT'ers Club.


Topics include: What are Eating Disorders?; Types of Eating Disorders; Eating Disorder Scales; Helpful/Unhelpful Aspects of Therapy; General Discussion and more. More information here (17th March) and here (14th April). See you then!

Discount: £5 Off All One-to-One Therapy Sessions During March 2018


During March, we will be offering £5 off all one-to-one therapy appointments made. This offer applies to self-referring clients and only when the code MF2018 is quoted when booking.


£5 will be deducted when you pay for appointments in cash or via BACS. This offer is valid between Thursday 1st March to Saturday 31st March. Fees return to normal after this. Feel free to get in touch here for more information. Thanks!

Our partners, The CBT'ers Club, will be accepting new and renewed Memberships in January 2018. The CBT'ers Club is a networking, support, discussion and CPD club for trainee and qualified psychotherapists, counsellors, psychologists, coaches and other mental health practitioners using CBT in their clinical practice with clients and patients.
